Based on the 2021 Census, the District has 108 farms, a 33% decrease since 2016. The majority of operations are between 10-130 acres and predominately focused on livestock production, including cattle & horses, and chicken production. With millions of visitors to the district each year, there is a significant market for locally produced food.
