OMAFA Northern Breakfast Meeting and Crop Report

This year's Northern breakfast meeting and crop report with OMAFA will be held virtually on May 13th at 8:30 Eastern, 7:30 Central. Meetings for each location will occur every second week. Certified Crop Advisor CEU credits have been applied for. Please email Marg Templeman at margaret.templeman@ontario.ca to be added to a location’s email list. You are welcome to forward this information on to others who may wish to contribute to these meetings. If you cannot join us for the meeting, you can catch up on the discussion in the summary notes posted on www.FieldCropNews.com later that week.

Venture North Bay Pitch

Join us. Northern Ontario Angels (NOA) and Innovation Initiatives Ontario North (IION) will co-host Venture North Bay Pitch 2026 on Thursday November 5, 2026 from 6:00-9:00 pm at the Best Western. Applications will open on May 4, 2026, and closes on June 1, 2026, with four companies selected as finalists. The program is open to companies located, registered, and operating within the districts of Nipissing, Timiskaming, Parry Sound, and Muskoka. Four entrepreneurs will be selected to Pitch to Accredited Angel Investors. Cash prizes will be awarded for the Judges' Choice and Peoples' Choice Award. This event is an excellent networking opportunity for entrepreneurs, investors, students and eco-system partners. Purchase your ticket for $30.00 there will be appetizers and a cash bar.
