The Rural Ontario Institute's annual general meeting is happening Friday, June 19, 2026, from 9:00am - 11:30 am, followed by lunch. For 16 years, we've been committed to developing leaders, informing decision-makers, and strengthening connections across rural and Northern Ontario. Join the ROI board, staff, sponsors, donors, and community partners as we celebrate the achievements of the past year, share our vision for the future, and recognize the leaders who helped us get to where we are today. Venture North Bay Pitch

Join us. Northern Ontario Angels (NOA) and Innovation Initiatives Ontario North (IION) will co-host Venture North Bay Pitch 2026 on Thursday November 5, 2026 from 6:00-9:00 pm at the Best Western. Applications will open on May 4, 2026, and closes on June 1, 2026, with four companies selected as finalists. The program is open to companies located, registered, and operating within the districts of Nipissing, Timiskaming, Parry Sound, and Muskoka. Four entrepreneurs will be selected to Pitch to Accredited Angel Investors. Cash prizes will be awarded for the Judges' Choice and Peoples' Choice Award. This event is an excellent networking opportunity for entrepreneurs, investors, students and eco-system partners. Purchase your ticket for $30.00 there will be appetizers and a cash bar.
