For beef, sheep, goat and dairy producers. A Veterinarian will show you the benefits of having a biosecurity program and identify key practices to help you enhance biosecurity for your farm. You will have the opportunity to learn from knowledgeable OSCIA staff about cost-share opportunities and network with fellow farmers. Northern Ontario Angels (NOA) and Innovation Initiatives Ontario North (IION) will be co-hosting a pre-launch event about Venture North Bay Pitch 2026. This pre-launch event will give you the opportunity to network with other entrepreneurs, investors and local organizations within the eco-system. You will learn more about NOA & IION and how entrepreneurs can become investor ready. Karen Jones will present: People Don't Invest in Pitches. They Invest in Belief. Most entrepreneurs focus on perfecting their pitch deck, yet investors decide based on clarity, confidence, and trust long before the final slide. In her talk, she reveals how entrepreneurs can shift from presenting information to building belief, so investors lean in, believe in the entrepreneurs and say yes to what's next!. Bring your business cards to enter for a door prize. Your ticket will include appetizers and a cash bar.
