West Nipissing East Sudbury Soil and Crop Improvement Association Grain Day 2026

This year our association is having a grain storage/handling safety day. We will visit two local farms with different types of grain handling, drying, and storage operations. We will have expert speakers on the topics of grain safety, grain storage, and handling. This field day will be held with a lunch provided by GFO. Everyone is welcome for this great learning experience. There will be door prizes drawn during the lunch! 9:30am - Meet at Tom Jantzi bin site. In Warren at the gas bar off Hwy 17 turn left on Nipissing Road. Bin site is on the right past Sutcliff Road. 10:00am - Tom Jantzi to explain new bin site setup. 10:45am - Travel to James Parsons bin site on Gauthier Road. Venture North Bay Pitch

The program is open to companies located, registered, and operating within the districts of Nipissing, Timiskaming, Parry Sound, and Muskoka. Four entrepreneurs will be selected to Pitch to Accredited Angel Investors. Cash prizes will be awarded for the Judges' Choice and Peoples' Choice Award.
